I am a 33 year old female. I am very over weight. I have tried a numerous amount of diets, all fail. I have began eating healthier and walking at least 4 times per week. My problem is no matter what I eat, I seem to gain 2 pounds. For example, for breakfast I had a half of grapefruit and a piece of wheat toast. Lunch- chicken salad, 4 crackers and dinner some green beans and baked chicken. I walked that day. I woke up the next morning and had gained 2 pounds. What am I doing wrong. This happens all the time and I am getting so down on myself. It appears nothing helps. What can I do and don’t say exercise more because I am so heavy that most exercises hurt me. I have to get some weight off to began a extreme exercise program. Help!

Have you tried talking to your doctor? Maybe your doctor can help. Depression will also make you gain weight. I have been trying to lose weight also and it seems that no matter what I do I stay within 3 lbs. of what I usually do.

The best thing is to talk to your doctor or a therapist. I am not saying that you are crazy, but therapist are a great help.
