The only way we can feel fuller on fewer calories is if we eat foods that have high water content, such as fruit, vegetables, and soup. So if you are trying to lose weight, simply stick with water as your major thirst quencher. And as for juice and milk, try to keep your intake of these two beverages close to the average recommended daily serving of 6 ounces of juice and 16 to 24 ounces of milk.

My body type is described as an “apple shape” or atheltic. Im having trouble losing weight from my midriff. I jog regularly, kayak, do countless sit ups and eat very healthily. You cant really spot reduce fat, you lose it all over. There is a chemical releasedin the body called cortisol which is caused by stress that can deposit around the belly as fat. Are you under any undue stress? Just keep working at it…it will come off.
